Mariska Hargitay is founder and president of the Joyful Heart Foundation. This Charity Organisation (founded in 2004) works to foster a community that turns toward the issues of sexual assault, domestic violence and child abuse.On Wednesday, Mariska invited friends and stars to the 2010 Joyful Heart Foundation Benefit Gala, which was held at Skylight Soho downtown Manhattan.
Many stars attended the gala to support Mariska's work: The great Cyndi Lauper, Alec Baldwin, Debra Messing, Marcia Gay Harden, Hillary Swank and Chris Meloni were just some of them.
