Lorenzo Lamas' Wife Is Giving Birth To Their Grandchild

Lorenzo Lamas is going to become a grandfather thanks to his wife Shawna Craig, 28, who is four-months pregnant with his eldest daughter Shayne's biological baby.

Lorenzo Lamas, 57, and his family revealed they are expecting a new addition - a baby boy - in a new interview with Closer Weekly recently.

The Falcon Crest star's child Shayne, 29, never thought she would be able to welcome another baby after undergoing a life-altering surgery. But when her stepmother offered to be a surrogate, the former Bachelor contestant's prayers were answered.

In February 2014, Shayne lost her baby after experiencing a rare uterine rupture which required a hysterectomy to save her life.

'When I found out I could never have kids again, I screamed at the top of my lungs,' said the season twelve Bachelor winner. 'My world shattered, my world was over. It was the worst moment of my life.'

Fortunately for Shayne and her husband Nik Ritchie - who already have three-year-old daughter Press - their options to conceive were not completely closed.

Shawna - who is the fifth wife of Shayne's father Lorenzo - generously offered to carry the couple's child as a special surrogate.

'Shawna's not just my stepmother, she's like a soul sister,' shared Shayne. 'She's an angel that blessed my whole family, including my father.'

The pregnant proxy has no children of her own and married Lorenzo in 2011 on the promise that they would never choose to have future children together.

Lorenzo Lamas on “Celebrity Apprentice”

The Celebrity Apprentice, which has been missing from NBC’s schedule since its Spring 2013 cycle, is returning to the NBC lineup on Sunday, Jan. 4 at 9/8c — with Donald Trump at the helm — before settling into a regular Monday 8/7c timeslot, the network announced today.

After much speculation as to who the cast will be NBC announced that Lorenzo Lamas will appear on the 2015 season of Celebrity Apprentice.

Other contestants are Ian Ziering (Beverly Hills, 90210), Olympic gymnast Shawn Johnson, TV personality Leeza Gibbons, musician Kevin Jonas, Olympic snowboarder Jamie Anderson, retired baseball player Johnny Damon, actress Vivica A. Fox, news personality Geraldo Rivera, reality star Kate Gosselin, former NFL star Terrell Owens, comedian Gilbert Gottfried, “Deadliest Catch” star Sig Hansen, “Real Housewives” star Brandi Glanville, actress Keisha Knight Pulliam (The Cosby Show), and reality star Kenya Moore.

The season was already filmed in spring 2014.

Actor Lorenzo Lamas has worked with some top names in the industry in his career but he says that he learnt most from working with the extremely talented Jane Wyman. Lorenzo says that Jane was the perfect role model, as she was in no way a diva and was always there to help him when needed.

Lamas explained, "She was an actress, not a diva. Always arrived on time, knew the dialogues, did not ask a huge caravan. So no other actor could ask for a huge caravan. The only thing of which she could not talk about was her marriage to Ronald Reagan."

He added, "Working with stars intimidated. What happens is that when you're young and a bit silly not you realize that you have the opportunity to work with legendary actors. There were times when I thought that at one point someone would appear on the set for me. 'We realize that you have no idea of ​​acting, is over' That's what I did to keep the humility."

Lorenzo Lamas has a very busy couple of years coming up, with a number of movies due to be released over the course of the next year or so. Lorenzo has no fewer than five films in post-production right now, as well as a couple of television projects.

Lorenzo Lamas to Lead Ride for Child Abuse Awareness

Lorenzo Lamas will be the grand marshal in a motorcycle ride starting in Marina del Rey to raise awareness for victims of child abuse.
The second annual “Ride to the Dunes” will be held June 2 and starts at Bartels’ Harley Davidson in Marina del Rey and ends at Sycamore State Beach in Malibu, where lunch will be provided and the band Alchemy will play.
"As parents and everyday citizens, we owe it to ourselves to support kids however we can,” Lorenzo Lamas said in a statement. “The organizations we are recognizing at this event are some of many legitimate organizations seeking to raise awareness of child abuse and I call on every rider in Southern California to come out and ride to support the cause."
The ride will benefit local organizations that fight child abuse, including Bikers Against Child Abuse Los Angeles, The Children's Wall of Tears, CASA of L.A. and CASA of OC.
The ride from Bartels’ begins at 10 a.m., and registration starts at $40, which includes lunch. Forms must be submitted by May 25. For more information, visit www.ridetothedunes.org

Selby, Moses, Lamas & Stevenson at Paley Center Exhibit Opening

On April 12, some of our Falcon Crest stars attended the Paley Center’s Celebration for the opening of their exhibit Television: Out of the Box. David Selby, Lorenzo Lamas, William R. Moses and Parker Stevenson were in Los Angeles to celebrate the exhibition.

The Paley Center for Media and Warner Bros. Television are teaming up for a new interactive, multimedia museum exhibit.

Highlights include iconic series ranging from The Bugs Bunny Show to The Big Bang Theory, Kung Fu to The Closer, Murphy Brown to The Mentalist…and more. Also featured are 80s soaps Knots Landing, Dallas and for sure Falcon Crest.

The Exhibit features props, costumes, photos, set pieces, video clips, photo ops, and original animation. It runs until 2015 with new items added periodically.

Lorenzo Lamas' Face Lift

Okay, I'll have to warn you: Please don't watch this video if you can't handle this. :-) Last year, Lorenzo Lamas was filmed while having a face lift. For his new wife, he wanted to look young and went to a plastic surgeon in Beverly Hills. Well, the result (and the surgery) can be watched in this video:

Lorenzo Lamas is grandfather

Lorenzo Lamas' daughter Shayne and her husband Nik Richie welcomed their first child on 11-11-11 as expected.

Sharing the happy news, Nik told E! News, "I feel blessed today." He revealed that he and Shayne named their newborn Press Dahl Lamas-Richie, and gushed that she "is the coolest baby in the history of female kind. She doesn't even cry and she has the prettiest eyelashes."
