Joanna Cassidy joins cast of "Body of Proof"
Cassidy will appear in the third episode and play the yet-to-be-named mother of Dana Delany's medical examiner, Dr. Megan Hunt.
"I get this weird chill when I write scenes for the two of them, it's a wonderful dynamic," creator Christopher Murphey tells TV Guide Magazine. "I think Megan and her mother have a wonderful back story that we will be basically mining over the first few episodes. You're going to be finding out a lot about Megan."
Body of Proof premieres Friday, Sept. 24 at 9/8c on ABC.

Jane Badler joins 'V' Remake

And while announcements like the coming three-sided war between the Visitors and two different factions of the human resistance have been encouraging; the most recent news should prove even more intriguing.
Jane Badler, who portrayed the Vistor leader Diana in the original "V" miniseries and TV series has signed on to join the cast of the new "V," according to Deadline. Badler will play the mother of Anna (Morena Baccarin), whose name is also Diana.

Badler will make her debut in the second season premiere. The move is being compared by Hollywood observers to Richard Hatch's stint on the "Battlestar Galactica" remake after starring as Apollo in the original series.
Following her original run on "V," Badler went on to appear in "The Highwayman," "Jake and the Fatman," "Falcon Crest" and the '80s remake of "Mission: Impossible" before moving to Australia and continuing her acting and singing career there.
Badler is the first star of the original "V" to return to the new series.
Dana Sparks sells Home

But don't call the moving van just yet. A ferry may make more sense. They plan to stay on the lake.
"There is a home available we have been coveting for many years," Dana Sparks said. The couple's two-story house, built in 1960, has large windows taking in the lake, sunset and mountain views.
Its 3,280 square feet of living space include a family room with a fireplace and bar, a den, four bedrooms and 3 1/2 bathrooms.

The Sparkses bought the house as an investment but later turned it into their primary residence. They paid $1,925,000 for the property in 2005, according to public records.
