Actor Robert Foxworth, who recently moved to Encinitas, is the guest of honor Tuesday at a cocktail reception hosted by Mo'olelo Performing Arts in San Diego.
"Wine, Cheese & Wisdom with Actor Robert Foxworth" will be held from 5:30 to 7 p.m. Tuesday April 13, at the 10th Avenue Theatre, 930 10th Ave., San Diego.
Mo`olelo’s Wine, Cheese & Wisdom events are part of the Tuesdays at the 10th series and are opportunities for local artists and audiences to glean wisdom from a nationally-recognized theater practitioner and to close the gap between artist and audience and between local and national.
Locally in his recent Old Globe performance as George Wallace in "Cornelia," Foxworth is now preparing for the role of King Lear in the Globe's Summer Shakespeare Festival, directed by Festival Artistic Director Adrian Noble.
The program begins with an informal wine-and-cheese reception, followed by a Q&A with Foxworth about his career on Broadway, regional theater, television and in film, his acting process and how he came to live in North County. Admission is a bottle of wine, cheese or a snack to share and a $10 suggested donation at the door. Reservations: email tickets@moolelo.net or call 619-342-7395
