I’ve opened the Season 8 Gallery on Facebook with this lovely picture of Maggie & Richard and I’ll continue uploading pictures in the next days. Stay tuned.
Though she's pushing 70, Lauren Hutton (Liz McDowell from Falcon Crest’s season 7) is proving that an old pro still has a place in the modeling world.
As the face of Lucky Brand's fall Denim Democracy campaign, Hutton is still on top of her game in an industry that generally favors youth and a fresh new face. Lucky executive vice president and creative director Patrick Wade tells WWD that Hutton arrived to the late June shoot in L.A. ever the pro.
“We do shoots all the time with models, but Lauren really made the day," Wade says. "She brought so much energy to the set." Beyond energy, she also brought her own makeup and applied it herself.
Wade's also hopefully that Hutton will be recruited to open the brand's Santa Monica and Beverly Hills stores this fall. "We love her and would love for her to be part of that," he says.
Carla Gugino (Sydney St. James from Falcon Crest’s season 9) will join the cast of M. Night Shyamalan’s upcoming series Wayward Pines.
The series centers on a Secret Service agent named Ethan Burke (played by Matt Dillon) who’s searching for two missing agents in the titular town.
Gugino joins as Kate Hewson, Ethan’s former partner and ex-girlfriend who now lives in Wayward Pines. She’s smart, capable, loyal, fiery, blunt and fearless. But their former love for each other simmers just below the surface.
The star-studded project, based on the best-selling novel of the same name, is billed as a mind-bending new thriller set in a small town where nothing is what it seems.
Fans of the mystery series Twin Peaks might think this sounds familiar, but director M. Night Shyamalan (The Sixth Sense) dismisses comparisons between his show and the cult classic of the 90s. "I'm not copying anybody," said the After Earth director. "I don't like copying anything, so the specificity will be the way you'll know that it's different."
Wayward Pines is scheduled to be premiered in 2014.
I’ve added new pictures of the lovely Susan Sullivan to the Season 5 Gallery on Facebook
